If you have a website not built by us, we do provide testing and website adjustments needed to make the site compliant. In either case, we provide step-by-step diagnostic testing of the site, reporting, scoring and adjustments needed so that your site is easy for those with disabilities to read and navigate. We include:
Diagnostic testing for color, font, size, shading, contrast, backend coding and organization of data
A check of all videos if they have closed captions turned on and are compliant
- Clearly stated ADA Website Compliance Statement
- Clearly identifies the ADA features on the property and in the rooms
- Can a person visiting your site know if they can stay there based on the information on your site?
Update content/text on site so features and descriptions of property are adequate
As part of your ADA Compliance testing, we include a check for any and all Videos on the site. We are checking that the closed caption option has been turned on in YouTube, a requirement for ADA compliance.
Since ADA requirements can change, and technology constantly improves and you’ll be making changes to your website on a regular basis, we recommend, at a minimum, annual testing.
