We’ve been sharing marketing tips with innkeepers for more than 20 years and this has to be one of my favorite marketing tips.

That’s because you get 3 things done at once when you start with a blog.

What brought this to my attention was the comment we received last week –

These are amazing. Why didn’t I find you 30 years ago. You know more about Santa Barbara than I do.!

Blog Posts = Newsletters + Facebook = Business Revenue

Most know that blogging captures search engine attention and can keep guests on your site longer. But did you know you can use paragraphs from your blog and make an informative and exciting email newsletter? And that you can post it on Facebook?

Well-written blog entries can be recycled to your Facebook and Newsletter and here’s the value:

  1. They make your guests really want to come
  2. On average, newsletters (made from your blog material) bring in income that is 32 x what you spent on sending out your newsletter
  3. With your newsletter you drive former guests to your website and those extra website visitors keep you higher on search rankings in addition to getting them close to your Book Now button.

This is the year to take the bull by the horns and make this happen.

You can do it yourself or use our librarian writer to do the research and writing.
